About the event
Led by Dr. Lara Trubowitz
Dr. Trubowitz is the education director for the Anti-Defamation League’s Midwest Region and the associate director for
ADL’s National College & University Programs. She is a former professor of English with expertise in antisemitism, racism, fascism, and neofascism. She taught at Northwestern University and University of California-Berkeley, as well as the Prison University Project, a college degree program at San Quentin State Penitentiary in California. Dr. Trubowitz has worked closely with K-12 teachers, administrators, families, and students to develop anti-bias curriculum and equity assessments. She also served as a restorative justice trainer in a partnership between the Evanston Police Youth Services Department in Illinois and the Evanston School District.
